Spider veins are damaged veins that can’t entirely pump the blood back to the heart. Returning some blood flow applies pressure on the veins’ wall. These Swollen vessels cause the blue and purple bulge to appear under the skin, on the face, legs, or feet.
Spider veins are also known as spider webs or marble since they twist and turn.
Some common factors are pregnancy, use of birth control, history of blood clots, heredity, obesity, and standing for a long period.
