ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTION

Neuromodulators like Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau® are derived from botulinum toxin, a neurotoxic protein produced by Clostridium botulinum bacteria. They are used to temporarily reduce facial wrinkles by weakening or paralyzing specific muscles, which smooths the skin above them. Results typically appear within 24 to 48 hours after injection. Despite altering muscle function, these injections are safe when administered by medical professionals.

TREATMENT

Depending on the area of concern, a specific amount of botulinum toxin is injected to smooth out wrinkles. Areas of the face that can be treated include:

• Frown Lines
• Forehead Lines
• Bunny Lines (nose bridge)
• Crow’s Feet (around eyes)
• Chin Dents
• Brow Lift (lifts brows)
• Gummy Smile (exposes upper teeth and gums)
• Neck Bands (aging muscle lines)
• Excessive Sweating (palms and underarms)
• Glabellar Lines (lines between eyebrows)

This treatment is not permanent and typically needs to be repeated every 4-6 months
